Potter-Dix, Banner County to play Thursday for sub-district championship game

DALTON - No.2 Potter-Dix was led by Senior Brayden Kasten who finished the game with a double-double, 25 points and 11 steals, and helped the Coyotes capture a 59-47 win over No.3 Creek Valley.
Sophomore Landon Gasseling chipped in 24 points.
Potter-Dix finished the game shooting 53% from the floor, and snatched 17 rebounds and 14 steals.
Sophomore Lane Brenneman led the way for the Storm with 23 points. Sophomore Zander Polk added 12.
Creek Valley tallied up 19 rebounds and 10 steals. The Storm finished the season 5-14.
No.4 Banner County was led by seniors Brendyn Onstott and Jacob Parsons who both added 18 points to help the Wildcats get a 54-53 win over No.1 Leyton.
Nathan McGowan chipped in 14 points to combine Onstott, Parsons, and McGowan for 50 of the 54 points that Banner County had.
The Wildcats finished with a total of 32 rebounds and knocked down 7 threes throughout the game.
The Warriors were led by senior Jonathan Kruse who finished the game with 16 points. Freshman Calvin Borgmann chipped in 10.
Leyton finished the game with 33 total rebounds and grabbed 17 steals. The Warriors finished the season 10-13.
