The driver of a beer delivery truck was arrested Friday for driving under the influence.

Kimball Police were called to Woody's Liquor at approximately 2:30 pm on Friday for a welfare check on the driver of a beer delivery truck. The driver had left his truck parked behind Woody's for an extended period of time and seemed dazed and confused.

The investigation quickly became a DUI investigation and Joshua Kirchhefer, 29, of Scottsbluff was arrested for driving under the influence of alcoholic liquor second offense and refusing a breath test.
