SIDNEY -- Wilkins Solutions welcomed the community to celebrate the new business with a ribbon cutting followed by a pulled-pork dinner.

Sam Wilkins, owner of Wilkins Solutions in Dalton, introduced his company and took his turn at the service line. He said the short time they've been in business has been busy, but good.

"It's been a good journey so far. It's only been going three months and we've already been busy every day. There's always something out there. There's always somebody getting scammed or hacked," said Wilkins.

He said the computer age has caused frustrations when the technology fails to work properly.

"It's frustrating. We live in frustrating times. Everything we touch is technical. It's like our world ends when the technology stops. That's especially true for small businesses, or home offices," he said.

He said his services are just as important for an older person trying to understand his or her computer.

Wilkins added he has long had an interest in computers.

"I've always worked on computers. It's always been an interest to me. There's a severe need in this area for somebody with just any kind of tech help," he said.

He said he can work on computers remotely or on location.
