Betty Yvonne Moore was born on January 11th, 1937, in Mill Shoals, Illinois. Betty led a life filled with love, family, and community. After graduating from high school in 1955, she embarked on a journey of love and companionship, marrying Russell Moore on May 4th, 1958, at the Methodist Church in Mill Shoals, Illinois.

Betty and Russell's journey took them to various places, settling ultimately in Kimball, Nebraska. There, Betty dedicated herself to creating a warm and nurturing home as Russell worked in the oil fields. Her commitment to family extended beyond the walls of her home, as she actively contributed to the Kimball community through her work at GRI and Little Bumble Bee’s Day Care and various other endeavors.

A steadfast member of the First Baptist Church for over 48 years, Betty found solace and strength in her faith. Her family was the center of her universe, and she cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren. Betty's green thumb found joy in flower gardening, and her heart overflowed with love for children and grandchildren, especially relishing time spent celebrating birthdays and holidays with her grandchildren.

Despite being a long time Kimball resident, Betty maintained strong ties to her roots in Illinois, eagerly anticipating annual visits with family. She also cherished memories of visiting with family and friends.
