Train derailment slows traffic in Gurley
Two cars from a southbound coal train left the rails in Gurley this morning.
GURLEY -- Two train cars in a southbound coal train derailed this morning in Gurley.
News Channel Nebraska received a call this morning of a derailment between Gurley and Dalton impacting crossings. The caller said crossings were "torn up pretty bad," and urged commuters to seek alternate routes of travel.
In Gurley, two train cars with coal left the tracks on the west side of U.S. 385 and the Gurley park. No injuries were reported.
