SIDNEY -- No injuries were reported when at about 11:30 a.m. April 17 a Toyota sedan failed to stop at the Canterbury Estates.
The car came to rest on top of a flower garden facing east with the car facing west toward the apartments.
The driver, Susan Schliep, of Sidney, advised Sidney Police she was pulling into her usual parking space and when she pressed on the brake pedal the accelerator "went full bore," according to the accident report.
The 2010 Toyota Corolla four-door accelerated forward, over the curb, and onto the raised flower bed.
No violation was noted, no citation issued.
