Beutler signs to play for North Platte

Leyton High School senior Trinity Beutler today signed to played volleyball at North Platte Community College. She plans to study special education.

DALTON -- Leyton High School senior Trinity Beutler signed her letter of intent to play volleyball for North Platte Community College.

Beutler said she visited the program and felt it is a good fit.

"I went down and played with the volleyball team and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. I went down there for a camp last summer. I was talking to the coach and she was just really nice," Beutler said.

She said plans to study Special Education with a minor in physical. Volleyball will help her reach her academic goals.

"This is a full ride scholarship for volleyball. All my tuitions and books are paid for," she said today at the signing event at Leyton High School.

She said part of the reason she chose North Platte is she wants to stay close to family.

In her three-year high school varsity career, Beutler has earned a 37.7  kill percent, with 548 kills 1,551 attacks, .180 hit percent, and 14.5 percent serving ace.
