Kimball Dog found beaten, shot

The evening of May 2, a Kimball resident returned home and found their dog on the porch who appeared to have been beaten and shot.

UPDATE: With more than three citizens making donations to the sheriff's department, the reward for any information that leads to an arrest is now $3,400.

 

KIMBALL -- The evening of May 2, a Kimball resident returned home and found their dog on the porch who appeared to have been beaten and shot. 

The Kimball County Sheriff’s Office responded to the call on the north side of Longhorn Road. Sheriff David Hottell says based on the dog’s condition he suspects the incident happened earlier in the morning. 

Contact the Sheriff’s Office at 308-235-3615. They are offering a $1,000 reward for any information that leads to the arrest of the perpetrator.
