KIMBALL – A car and semi collided in a construction zone on I-80 headed westbound on June 29. 

The two vehicles were traveling in a construction zone on I-80 between Kimball and Bushnell. A Florida resident driving the sedan was traveling in the left lane to pass a semi but came up on the barriers to merge and collided into the semi. 

The driver was cited for careless driving. The semi, driven by a New Mexico resident, had no damage.

The Kimball County Sheriff’s Office, Kimball EMS and Kimball Police Department responded to the accident that resulted in minor injuries.
