SIDNEY -- Animal weigh-ins continue today at the Morrill County Fair.

The Morrill County Fair officially opened Saturday. The Horse Show took over the arena at 7 p.m. Sunday, July 21. 

Today, July 22, is the Exhibit Hall Entry Day (closed to the public). Vendors also set up today.

Tuesday is animal weigh-ins starting at 7 a.m. with sheep. The dog show is scheduled for 9 a.m. in the small arena.

Wednesday activities start with the swine show at 8 a.m., followed by the sheep show, goat show, rabbit check-in Open Class, 4-H, FFA at 1-3 p.m. (exhibitor meeting to follow), and Livestock Skill-A-Thon 3p.m.

Thursday starts with the Beef Show in the Small Arena at 8 a.m., with large Animal Robin Robin to follow. The Poultry Check-In is 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Friday is packed with events all day starting with the 9 a.m. Rabbit Show, Poultry Show, Companion Animal Show and Small Animal Round Robin.

The Community Night Supper is scheduled for 5 p.m. The dinner is free to all and sponsored by the Morrill County Fair Board, Morrill County 4-H Council, Pepsi Co. -- Alliance, and Morrill County Fair Foundation.

The 4-H and FFA Presentations start at 5:30 p.m., 4-H and FFA Livestock Sale at 6:30 p.m. and concert at 8:30 p.m. This year's concert features BJ Jamison and the Twin River Band.
