OFFUTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ne — The United States Air Force Thunderbirds will honor Marine Corporal Daegan Page as the Fallen Warrior of the Defenders of Freedom Air & Space Show.

The Thunderbirds will dedicate their Sunday, August 25 performance to the memory of Cpl. Page, who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving his country.

Cpl. Page, a native of Omaha, served with honor and distinction in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was among the 13 service members who tragically lost their lives during the evacuation mission in Kabul, Afghanistan, in August 2021. His bravery and selflessness are a testament to the courage and commitment of all who serve.

The 55th Wing at Offutt Air Force Base is deeply honored that the Thunderbirds have accepted their nomination of Cpl. Page as the Defenders of Freedom Air & Space Show’s Fallen Warrior. This tribute reflects the community's respect and admiration for Cpl. Page and his family.

Following the Thunderbirds’ aerial demonstration on Sunday, August 25, a private ceremony will be held to honor Cpl. Page’s memory. This ceremony will be attended by his family and close friends, providing a moment of reflection and remembrance for the life and legacy of a true American hero.

The Defenders of Freedom Air & Space Show is proud to host the Thunderbirds as they pay tribute to Cpl. Page, and we invite the public to join us in honoring his sacrifice and service.
