Chadron State College crowns homecoming royalty
CHADRON – Chadron State College Homecoming Royalty was crowned Thursday night on Elliot Field.
They are King Caden Keller of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, and Queen Samantha Brunner of Cheyenne, Wyoming. Keller, a junior, was nominated by the Newman House and is also involved in Huddle. Brunner, a junior, was nominated by the Residence Life Association and is also involved in Education Club.
First attendants are Emmerald Sims of Grant, Nebraska, nominated by Every Eagle Succeeds and Omar Ali of Las Vegas, Nevada, nominated by Art Guild.
Second attendants are Jayden Kanno of Morrill, Nebraska, nominated by the Student Center Pit and Levi Van Beek of Crawford, Nebraska, nominated by Night of Country Swing.
Third attendants are Hunter Wiebelhaus of Springview, Nebraska, nominated by the Campus Activities Board and Cobie Bila of Chadron, nominated by the Health Professions Club.
Following coronation, students and employees climbed C-Hill for a traditional lighting ceremony.
