Police arrest burglary, trespassing suspects

Three Scottsbluff residents were arrested on charges including Burglary and Trespassing.

SCOTTSBLUFF -- At 11:06 p.m. on October 20, Scottsbluff Police received a call of "flashlights shining in the backyard of a residence."

Caitlyn Charles and Preston Spurgeon, both 23 and of Scottsbluff were arrested on charges of Burglary and Trespassing. Adam Mitchell, 22, Scottsbluff, was arrested on charges of Burglary, two counts of Possession of a Deadly Weapon During Commission of a Felony and Trespassing.

All three were transported to Scotts Bluff County Jail and later released on bond.

Burning mattress leads to arrest of Scottsbluff man

At 4:08 a.m., officers responded to a report of someone lighting a mattress on fire in the 2100 block of Laucomer Drive. Christian Perez, 26, of Scottsbluff, was arrested on charges of Terrorist Threats, Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony and Domestic Assault Third Degree.
