Sidney police identify Walmart shoplifting suspect
UPDATE - Interim Police Chief Sam Lovato announced the suspect involved in shoplifting from Walmart on Friday has been identified.
"The Sidney Police Department would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who provided information regarding the recent shoplifting incident," Lovato said. "Your commitment to community safety is greatly appreciated."
The name of the suspect or the charges have not been released.

SIDNEY -- The Sidney Police Department is seeking the public's help to identify the individual pictured above. This person is suspected of shoplifting from Walmart on November 8, 2024.
If you recognize this individual, please contact the Sidney Police Department at 308-254-5515. Your tip could help bring this individual to justice.
According to the Sidney Police, at about 11:37 p.m. November 8, three males entered Walmart; two of the men are known by law enforcement from prior interactions. The third remains unidentified at this time.
Sidney Police report that the three men proceeded to the electronics department where a Night Owl Spotlight Camera valued at $299 was taken.
The Sidney Police Department received notification of the theft from Walmart Loss Prevention at about 7:30 p.m. November 9.
