Kimball County Sheriff’s Office makes several felony arrests
KIMBALL -- In the span of three days, The Kimball County Sheriff’s Office made four felony possession arrests.
The Sheriff’s Office conducted a probation search on Nov. 18 with the assistance of the Kimball Police Department. Natalie Heigis, 37, of Tennessee was at the residence of the search, at which time the police found a substance on her and arrested her for the possession of a controlled substance.
Heigis is in custody in the Kimball Jail, and her bond is set at $50,000, with the right to post 10%.
On Nov. 19, the Sheriff’s Office conducted a bond search in Dix for 62-year-old Chaulkie Langley. Deputies found substances in a room that both Langley and 49-year-old Amanda Joy had access to. They were both arrested for the possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
Langley is still in custody in the Kimball Jail, and his bond is set at $5,000 for the new charges, and he will see a judge for bond on his other charges. Joy has since bonded out.
On Nov. 17, the Sheriff’s Office and Kimball PD located Joanna Phillips, 43, of Kimball who had an outstanding felony warrant from Scottsbluff County. Upon making the arrest, officers searched her and found a substance, which field-tested positive for meth.
She was transferred to Scottsbluff County Jail. Her bond for the local possession charge is $5,000, with the right to post 10%.
The Kimball County Sheriff’s Office says all subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
