A woman has died following a morning single-vehicle crash in Central Nebraska.
PLEASANTON, Neb. — A woman has died following a morning single-vehicle crash in Central Nebraska.
The Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office says it happened shortly before 6:00 Friday morning about three miles northeast of Pleasanton. According to a news release, 30-year-old Elizabeth Michelle Elder of Ravenna was driving eastbound on 340th Road near Hawk Road when her car left the road and hit a utility pole. She died at the scene.
Deputies were assisted at the scene by members of the Kearney/Buffalo County Fatality Accident Investigation Team (FAIT), Pleasanton Volunteer Fire Department, CHI Good Samaritan Hospital Paramedics, Air Care, Buffalo County Highway Department, and the Buffalo County Attorney's Office.
The investigation is ongoing.
