UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The No. 2 Nebraska volleyball team's 25-match win streak came to an end Friday night with a 3-1 (21-25, 25-14, 22-25, 23-25) loss to No. 4 Penn State in front of 6,597 fans at Rec Hall in University Park, Penn.

The victory secured at least a share of the Big Ten title for the Nittany Lions, who defeated Nebraska for the first time since 2018.

The Huskers (28-2, 18-1 Big Ten) now face a must-win scenario in their regular-season finale at Maryland on Saturday to earn a share of the conference title with Penn State (29-2, 19-1 Big Ten).

Freshman Harper Murray led Nebraska with a double-double of 13 kills and 13 digs. Andi Jackson added 10 kills on .667 hitting and tied her career high with eight blocks, while Rebekah Allick chipped in eight kills and seven blocks. Bergen Reilly dished out 38 assists with eight digs, and libero Lexi Rodriguez paced the defense with 16 digs.

The Huskers' finished with 16 total blocks — their most since the season opener — limiting Penn State to a .152 hitting percentage. However, Nebraska hit a season-low .154 and recorded 11 fewer kills than the Nittany Lions.

Penn State’s Caroline Jurevicius tallied a career-high 18 kills on .414 hitting, providing a pivotal edge for the Nittany Lions.
