Kimball man arrested for second time on similar charges
KIMBALL -- A Kimball man was arrested on a felony charge the same week he received a sentence for a different charge.
The Kimball County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a stolen camper trailer on Dec. 4. Upon further investigation, the stolen trailer was recovered, which resulted in the arrest of 29-year-old Cody Green for possession of stolen property and possession of a controlled substance.
Green’s bond is set at 50,000, with the right to post 10%. He is scheduled to appear in Kimball County Court on Dec. 11.
On Dec. 3, Green was sentenced in another case from an incident that occurred in July.
Green was originally charged with Class 4 Felony theft by unlawful taking between the amount of $1,500 - $4,999.
His charge was reduced to Class 3 Misdemeanor unauthorized use of propelled vehicle first offense. District Court Judge Derek Weimer sentenced Green to 2 days’ time served.
