Nine people arrested in multi-agency operation near former Sidney school
SIDNEY, Neb. - A multi-agency law enforcement operation resulted in the arrest of nine individuals near the former North Elementary School in Sidney on Wednesday, according to a press release from the Sidney Police Department.
The operation - conducted in partnership with the Cheyenne County Sheriff’s Office, Kimball Police Department, Nebraska State Patrol, and Sidney Regional Ambulance Service - involved executing search warrants on multiple homes in the area. Officials reported the operation was carried out smoothly and without incident.
The nine individuals were are being held at the Cheyenne County Jail.
