INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Ryan Kalkbrenner had 26 points in Creighton's 80-76 win against Butler on Saturday.

Kalkbrenner added nine rebounds, three steals, and six blocks for the Bluejays (10-6, 3-2 Big East Conference). Steven Ashworth added 22 points with 12 rebounds and nine assists. Neal Jamiya went 7 of 16 from the field to finish with 14 points.

Patrick McCaffery finished with 21 points and seven rebounds for the Bulldogs (7-10, 0-6). Pierre Brooks added 14 points and seven rebounds for Butler. Boden Kapke also had 13 points. The loss was the Bulldogs' ninth straight.

Creighton went into the half tied with Butler 43-43. Ashworth scored 14 points in the half. Creighton took the lead for good with 12:36 left in the second half on a dunk from Kalkbrenner to make it a 56-54 game.

Marquel Sutton, JJ White score 24 apiece to propel Omaha to 87-80 victory over South Dakota State

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Marquel Sutton and JJ White both scored 24 to guide Omaha to an 87-80 victory over South Dakota State on Saturday.

Sutton also had eight rebounds for the Mavericks (10-9, 4-0 Summit League). White added seven assists. Lance Waddles hit two 3-pointers and scored 19 as Omaha won its sixth straight.

The Jackrabbits (10-8, 1-2) were led by Kalen Garry with 27 points and four assists. Oscar Cluff added 17 points and six rebounds. Joe Sayler had 11 points.

Colorado State earns 84-62 victory over UNLV

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) — Nique Clifford and Rashaan Mbemba both scored 22 points as Colorado State beat UNLV 84-62 on Saturday night.

Clifford added five rebounds, seven assists, and four steals for the Rams (10-6, 4-1 Mountain West Conference). Mbemba added five rebounds. Jalen Lake went 5 of 12 from the field (3 for 6 from 3-point range) to finish with 13 points, while adding six rebounds.

The Rebels (9-7, 3-2) were led in scoring by Dedan Thomas Jr., who finished with 19 points and six assists. Jaden Henley added 19 points for UNLV. Jalen Hill finished with eight points.

Moni's 15 lead North Dakota State past Denver 69-50

DENVER (AP) — Jacksen Moni's 15 points helped North Dakota State defeat Denver 69-50 on Saturday.

Moni shot 4 of 9 from the field, including 2 for 3 from 3-point range, and went 5 for 6 from the line for the Bison (13-6, 2-2 Summit League). Noah Feddersen scored 14 points and added nine rebounds. Tajavis Miller had 13 points and shot 5 of 7 from the field and 2 of 6 from the free-throw line.

The Pioneers (6-13, 0-4) were led by Nicholas Shogbonyo, who recorded 16 points. Josh Pickett added 10 points for Denver. Josh Lee finished with eight points and two steals. The loss is the seventh in a row for the Pioneers.

North Dakota State plays Thursday against UMKC at home, and Denver hosts Omaha on Wednesday.

Northern Colorado defeats Montana 81-57

MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — Brock Wisne scored 19 points as Northern Colorado beat Montana 81-57 on Saturday night.

Wisne added eight rebounds and five assists for the Bears (12-5, 4-0 Big Sky Conference). Langston Reynolds scored 17 points while shooting 7 of 15 from the field and 2 for 4 from the line and added 15 rebounds. Isaiah Hawthorne had 17 points and went 8 of 14 from the field. It was the sixth straight victory for the Bears.

The Grizzlies (10-7, 3-1) were led in scoring by Money Williams, who finished with 15 points. Te'Jon Sawyer added nine points and six rebounds for Montana. Kai Johnson also had eight points.

Both teams next play Thursday. Northern Colorado hosts Portland State and Montanaplays Weber State on the road.

McClendon has 20 as San Jose State takes down Air Force 69-62

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — Will McClendon had 20 points in San Jose State's 69-62 victory over Air Force on Saturday.

McClendon added four steals for the Spartans (8-10, 1-5 Mountain West Conference). Josh Uduje scored 15 points, shooting 6 for 10, including 2 for 3 from beyond the arc. Donavan Yap shot 4 for 15 (1 for 4 from 3-point range) and 4 of 4 from the free-throw line to finish with 13 points.

Ethan Taylor led the way for the Falcons (3-13, 0-5) with 16 points, six assists and three steals. Will Cooper added 10 points for Air Force, which has lost six in a row.

Uduje scored eight points in the first half and San Jose State went into the break trailing 31-29. San Jose State pulled off the victory after an 11-0 second-half run erased a two-point deficit and gave them the lead at 40-31 with 17:27 remaining in the second half. McClendon scored 13 second-half points.
