Gov. Jim Pillen hosting town hall meetings in McCook, Sidney
State of the State address will be given January 15
LINCOLN -- Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen will host town hall meetings in McCook and Sidney on Thursday, January 16, the day following his State of the State address.
Both events are open to the media and public.
Of special note, the event in McCook will begin with a presentation of medals to WWII veterans by Gov. Pillen.
The Sidney town hall meeting is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., Room 116, at Western Nebraska Community College, 371 S. College Drive, Sidney.
Gov. Pillen is expected to talk on Bill introductions, the State Budget, property taxes and the his priorities.
Prior to Sidney, Gov. Pillen will be hosting a town hall meeting at the McCook Town Hall, 12:30 p.m. Central Time January 16, at the Coppermill Steakhouse & Lounge, 202 Coppermill St., McCook.

The State of the State Address is scheduled for 10 a.m. (MT) Wednesday, January 15, at the Norris Chamber in the State Capitol. This event will be carried live on Nebraska Public Media.
