Suspects found guilty in September vehicle theft
Two suspects in the theft of a pickup truck in September were found guilty in District Court Tuesday afternoon.

KIMBALL -- Two suspects in the theft of a pickup truck in September were found guilty in District Court Tuesday afternoon.
Fifty-nine-year-old Raymond Martinez of Scottsbluff pled no contest in a previous court hearing to Class 1 Misdemeanor theft-shoplifting in the amount of $501-$1,499.
Judge Derek Weimer sentenced Martinez to 43 days’ time served.
Forty-four-year-old Albert Ramirez of Ogallala pled no contest to Class 4 Felony theft-shoplifting in the amount of $1,500-$4,999 in court Tuesday.
Ramirez said, “I just want to thank you and [my attorney Michael Samuelson] for giving me a chance at a new life with my recovery.”
Ramirez’s sentencing hearing is set for March 4.
