Clarice N. Sheaman, age 93, of Sidney, NE passed away at her home Sunday, February 16, 2025. 

Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel with Pastor Tom Waddell officiating.  Inurnment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in Sidney.  Friends may stop at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel on Monday February 24, 2025, from 1-6:00 P.M. to leave condolences for the family and sign Clarice’s register book.  Memorial contributions may be made in Clarice’s name to the Light Memorial Presbyterian Church.  Services will be live streamed on our Facebook page and recorded for later viewing on our website.  You may view Clarice’s Book of memories at www.gehrigstittchapel.com.

Clarice N. Sheaman was born on July 2, 1931, to William E. and Theresa (Boisen) Williams in Council Bluffs, IA.  She graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in Council Bluffs in 1949.  Clarice graduated from Nursing School in 1952 in East St. Louis, IL.  She worked as a Registered Nurse in Omaha and Council Bluffs until her marriage to Paul Sheaman on August 23, 1952, in Council Bluffs and then began working for Dr. Cook, Dr. Bitner and Dr. Thayer in Sidney for a year after their marriage. After her nursing career, Clarice Sheaman was a stay-at-home Mom that took great care of her family.

Clarice was a member of the Light Memorial Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her husband Paul of Sidney, NE, son Mike Sheaman of Parker, CO, daughter Theresa Bradley and husband Al of Ft. Walton Beach, FL and two grandsons:  John Bradley and Spencer Sheaman. 

Clarice is preceded in death by her parents, brother Bill Williams, and two sisters Ruth Head and Phoebe Cerveny.
