POTTER, Neb. — A man was taken into custody following a domestic disturbance in Potter on Sunday afternoon, where authorities say a woman was pushed out of a moving vehicle during an argument.

Cheyenne County Sheriff deputies responded to a report of a disturbance near 1321 Sheridan St. at 4:09 p.m. The preliminary investigation revealed a woman was thrown from a Ford F-150 pickup truck.

The woman suffered minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to a hospital for treatment. A child who remained inside the vehicle was uninjured, according to Cheyenne County Sheriff Adam Frerichs. 

The male suspect was arrested at the scene and booked on charges of domestic assault and resisting arrest.

Authorities have not released the names of those involved as the case remains under investigation.
