Motorcycle crash east of Sidney sends one person to hospital
UPDATE - A motorcycle crash east of Sidney on Sunday night resulted in the death of a 46-year-old man, according to Cheyenne County Attorney Amber Horn.

SIDNEY, Neb. — A motorcycle crash east of Sidney shut down part of Highway 30 Sunday night and sent one person to the hospital.
Emergency responders were called to the scene two miles east of Sidney at 8:06 p.m., where the eastbound lane of the highway was closed and traffic was reduced to one lane while authorities worked the scene.
Authorities tell News Channel Nebraska one person was transported by ambulance to Sidney Regional Medical Center with unknown injuries.
Authorities have not released the names of those involved and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
The Sidney Volunteer Fire Department, Sidney Regional Medical Center EMS, Cheyenne County Sheriff’s Office and Nebraska State Patrol responded to the scene.
