Gov. Pillen to host town hall meeting in Scottsbluff
Gov. Jim Pillen will host a town hall meeting in Scottsbluff Monday, March 10, at the Hampton Inn, 301 W. Highway 26, Scottsbluff.
By News Channel NebraskaSCOTTSBLUFF -- Governor Jim Pillen will host a town hall in Scottsbluff on Monday, March 10.
The meeting will be held 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Scottsbluff Town Hall, Hampton Inn, 301 W. Highway 26, Scottsbluff.
The event will include an update on legislative initiatives -- including those brought on his behalf, the state budget, efforts to streamline government operations and other topics
The gathering will kick off with the presentation of a medal and certificate honoring a local World War II veteran. Gov. Pillen has hosted several of these presentations across the state in conjunction with the Nebraska Department of Veterans Affairs (NDVA).
