Cheyenne County Lawyers’ Association offering $1,500 scholarship to one local student
SIDNEY, Neb. – The Cheyenne County Lawyers’ Association is offering a $1,500 scholarship to a deserving student from Cheyenne County.
Students interested in applying must submit a resume, a 100-word summary outlining their post-high school plans and a 250-word response to one of the following questions: “What is something that you have done in the past year that has made a difference?” or “Why should you be awarded this scholarship?” Applications must be submitted no later than April 5, 2025.
Eligible students from Sidney, Potter-Dix and Leyton High Schools will be considered. As part of the selection process, all applicants will participate in an interview.

The scholarship recipient will be notified by April 29, 2025. To receive the funds, the awardee must be enrolled in an accredited university, college or community college by August 31, 2025.
