SIDNEY, Neb. – Cooper White’s story is one of grit, faith and a second chance at life.
The Peetz High School graduate and current account executive at 987 The Big Boy and Cheyenne County Country was given a grim prognosis five years ago after a rare complication from COVID-19 left him fighting for his life. Doctors and nurses even told his parents to prepare for the worst.
But White had other plans.
This year, he completed his first marathon — a milestone that not only marks a physical triumph, but a deeply personal one.
