Scottsbluff - Western Nebraska Community College is pleased to announce that tuition for the CollegeNOW! dual credit program will be free for the 2025-2026 academic year.

CollegeNOW! offers high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school. WNCC partners with every high school in the Panhandle to provide dual credit courses, either on WNCC campuses or through the High School Select program at participating high schools.

Traditionally, CollegeNOW! students have enrolled in WNCC courses at a discounted rate. For the 2025-2026 academic year, tuition costs will be completely waived. Students will only be responsible for books and any applicable program fees.

"Our dual credit program is a huge asset to the college and our communities," WNCC President Greg Dart said. "We believe removing this financial barrier will allow even more students to take advantage of these opportunities."

The CollegeNOW! program saw a 20.9 percent increase in enrollment in the Fall 2024 semester compared to the previous year. Additionally, during the last academic year, WNCC faculty and program leaders removed some prerequisite course requirements, making it easier for high school students to enroll.
