Hole-in-One Winner Drives Off with $30,000 Prize at Vince’s Corner Golf Tournament

The 16th Annual Vince’s Corner ABCD Double Blind Draw Golf Tournament delivered more than just great shots and good company—it delivered a brand-new opportunity on Hole #3.
Dave Auwerda stunned his playing partners with a perfect swing, sinking a hole-in-one and claiming a $30,000 credit toward a new vehicle from Kimball Chevrolet, courtesy of tournament sponsor and dealership owner Mike Winstrom.
The group erupted as Auwerda’s ball dropped cleanly into the cup, marking one of the most exciting moments in the tournament’s history. “It was surreal,” Auwerda said. “Henry Jr (Heeg) made it special watching him celebrate, he was truly more excited than I was!”
Mike Winstrom, owner of Kimball Chevrolet/Panhandle Auto, added, “We love being part of this event every year, and seeing someone actually win the hole-in-one prize makes it even more special. Congratulations to Dave—it’s well deserved!”
Henry Heeg, owner of Vince’s Corner and tournament director said, “In 16 years we have had so many close shots and to finally have a hole in one was truly special. I want to thank Mike who not only sponsors the hole in one prize for our tournament, but also sponsors it for so many other tournaments around the area.”
The Vince’s Corner Golf Tournament continues to grow each year and we appreciate the players coming back from all across the states to play in our tournament!
