OSHKOSH, Neb. – Garden County continued its strong season Tuesday night, sweeping Sutherland in straight sets behind 11 ace serves and a balanced offensive attack.

Senior Ridglyn Stanczyk powered the Eagles with 14 kills, 18 assists, two blocks and two aces. Junior Kirstyn Beberniss added eight kills, three aces and a team-high 22 assists as Garden County finished with 42 kills, 40 assists, 11 aces and four blocks in the 3-0 win.

Sutherland was led by sophomore Leah Harper, who had seven kills. Freshman Kate Dyer added four kills and a block. The Sailors totaled 15 kills, 15 assists, three blocks and one ace.

With the victory, Garden County improved to 15-2 and will compete in the Morrill Tournament on Saturday. Sutherland fell to 5-15 and will host North Platte St. Patrick’s (9-11) on Thursday.
