Kimball man accused of possession of child abuse material arraigned in District Court

KIMBALL -- A Kimball man accused of being in possession of child abuse material was arraigned in Kimball District Court Tuesday.
Forty-five-year-old Kenny Rogers is facing two additional charges of possession of marijuana and the use/possession of drug paraphernalia.
The Kimball Police Department opened an investigation Nov. 21, and upon further investigation, probable cause was established to arrest Rogers.
Rogers’ attorney Stacy Bach requested a reduction in bond from $100,000 to $25,000; however, County Attorney Mark Kovarik stated that bond is appropriate based on the nature of the charges.
Judge Derek Weimer did not make a decision in court and will be taking it under advisement for a later date.
Rogers pled not guilty to all three charges, and his next hearing is Feb. 3.
All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
