MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — Treysen Eaglestaff scored 22 points, Honor Huff scored nine of his 14 points in the final seven minutes, and West Virginia blew a 12-point lead before beating Colorado 72-61 on Saturday.

Brenen Lorient had 12 points and nine rebounds for West Virginia (12-6, 3-2 Big 12) and Harlan Obioha added 10 points and nine boards.

Alon Michaeli and Barrington Hargress hit back-to-back 3s in a 12-2 run that made it 43-42 with 13:37 left in the game and gave the Buffaloes — who trailed by as many as 12 in the first half — their first lead. Jasper Floyd made a layup that put West Virginia in front for good 42 seconds later amid a 13-3 spurt, which included eight points by Eaglestaff, that made it 55-46 with nine minutes remaining.

It was at least a two-possession game the rest of the way.

West Virginia shot 52% from the field, limited Colorado to 39% shooting — 33% (10 of 30) in the second half — and outrebounded the Buffaloes 38-22.

Hargress led Colorado (12-6, 2-3) with 15 points, Isaiah Johnson had 12, Bangot Dak scored 11 and Sebastian Rancik added 10. The Buffaloes, who went in averaging 18.9 made free throws (No. 27 nationally) on more than 24 attempts per game, made 10 of 14 from the foul line.

Huff is second in the country with 68 3-pointers this season (Belmont's Tyler Lundblade, 70) and his 360 career made 3s are the third most amongst active players (High Point's Chase Johnston, 387; Oklahoma's Nijel Pack, 368). Huff, a 5-foot-10 senior, led the country with 131 3-point field goals made on 41.6% shooting for Chattanooga.

Djobet scores 25 as Omaha takes down Oral Roberts 73-62

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Paul Djobet's 25 points helped Omaha defeat Oral Roberts 73-62 on Saturday night.

Djobet added seven rebounds for the Mavericks (9-11, 2-3 Summit League). Lance Waddles scored 12 points and added five rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Tony Osburn finished with nine points.

Ofri Naveh led the Golden Eagles (5-15, 0-5) with 22 points and 13 rebounds. Ty Harper and Connor Dow each finished with 13 points. The Golden Eagles prolonged their losing streak to eight straight.

Camper puts up 23 and 9 rebounds, Nevada downs Air Force 81-66, the Falcons 11th loss in a row

AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AP) — Corey Camper Jr. had 23 points and nine rebounds in Nevada's 81-66 win over Air Force on Saturday, the Falcons' 11th consecutive loss.

Tayshawn Comer went 5 of 7 from the field to add 14 points for the Wolf Pack (13-5, 5-2 Mountain West Conference). Elijah Price shot 3 of 6 from the field and 7 for 8 from the line to finish with 13 points.

The Falcons (3-15, 0-7) were led in scoring by Lucas Hobin, who finished with 22 points. Air Force also got 13 points from Ethan Greenberg. Wesley Celichowski had 11 points and two steals.

Air Force has the second-longest active losing streak in Division I. Mississippi Valley State has lost 16 in a row.

Nevada took the lead about 9 1/2 minutes into the game and did not trail again. Camper led the the Wolf Pack with 10 points in the first half to help put them up 40-29 at the break. Nevada outscored Air Force in the second half by four points, with Camper scoring a team-high 13 points after the break.

Men's coach Joe Scott suspended by Air Force pending investigation into treatment of cadet-athletes

AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AP) — Air Force men's basketball coach Joe Scott has been indefinitely suspended pending an investigation into the treatment of cadet-athletes, the school said Saturday.

No other details were provided. Air Force hosts Nevada later Saturday. Assistant coach Jon Jordan will serve as the interim coach. Scott is 97-183 in charge of the Falcons.

“In response to today’s action, I will fully cooperate with the investigation and look forward to a proper resolution of this matter,” Scott said in a statement posted on social media. "I will not have any further comment until the matter is resolved.”

Air Force is 3-14 this season. Scott is in his sixth year of his second go-around with the team.

Scott led Air Force to the NCAA Tournament in 2003-04 before taking over at Princeton for three seasons and then the University of Denver for nine. He was an assistant coach for several seasons before returning to Air Force in 2020.

Gory, Douglas Jr. split 26 points as Fresno State secures 63-60 victory over Wyoming

FRESNO, Calif. (AP) — DeShawn Gory and David Douglas Jr. each scored 13 points to help Fresno State defeat Wyoming 63-60 on Saturday.

Gory also added six rebounds for the Bulldogs (9-9, 3-4 Mountain West Conference). Douglas was 3 of 9 from the floor, including 2 for 7 from 3-point range, and 5 for 6 from the line. Jake Heidbreder shot 3 for 9 (0 for 3 from 3-point range) and 4 of 5 from the free-throw line to finish with 10 points.

The Cowboys (11-7, 2-5) were led in scoring by Leland Walker, who finished with 17 points and five assists. Nasir Meyer added 13 points, seven rebounds and two steals for Wyoming. Damarion Dennis had 10 points and five rebounds.

Douglas scored eight points in the first half and Fresno State went into halftime trailing 27-26. The second half featured seven lead changes and was tied eight times before Fresno State secured the victory. Heidbreder scored nine second-half points to help seal the win.

Prophet Johnson scores 30, Sacramento State beats Northern Colorado 93-89 in OT

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Prophet Johnson scored 21 of his 30 points after halftime, Mark Lavrenov had 17 points and 17 rebounds, and Sacramento State beat Northern Colorado 93-89 in overtime Saturday night.

Jahni Summers also scored 17 points for Sacramento State (6-11, 2-3 Big Sky Conference) and Shaqir O'Neal added 11.

Quinn Denker made 11 of 18 from the field, hit 7 of 8 from the free-throw line, and finished with 29 points, 11 assists, six rebounds and four steals for Northern Colorado (11-8, 1-5). Vincent Delano scored 13 points and Ring Nyeri 11.

The Bears have lost three in a row and seven of their last nine.

Johnson made a 3-pointer to open the scoring in OT and the Hornets led the rest of the way.

Nyeri's dunk with 15 seconds left in regulation made it 82-all and eventually forced overtime. Johnson missed a potential winning layup before the buzzer.
