According to Leyton Public Schools' website, a special meeting of the school board has been scheduled for Friday, January 22nd. Although the agenda has not yet been finalized for Friday's meeting, the working agenda currently lists appointing an interim superintendent as an item for the school board to take action on.
A draft of the interim superintendent contract has also been posted to the district's website. The draft of the contract names Dana Jeppson as the person in line to take the position. The draft also states the interim superintendent will take over starting Friday.
