Scottsbluff man facing multiple charges after alleyway incident

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. -- A Panhandle man is facing multiple charges in Scottsbluff following an incident involving power tools.
Scottsbluff Police were called to to an alleyway after receiving reports of multiple individuals with power tools surrounding a car.
Court documents stated that one of those individuals was 30-year-old Jeremie Steen. A witness reported seeing Steen holding a chainsaw, stating that he was trying to start it before police arrived.
The chainsaw and other tools in the vehicle were identified as being stolen earlier that day.
The approximate value of the stolen property was $3,600.
Police stated that they also found a multi-colored glass smoking device on Steen.
Steen was charged with possession of stolen property and drug paraphernalia.
