Kimball Street Department is cutting back on tree branches this summer

The city of Kimball is asking all property owners to cut their branches.

KIMBALL, Neb. — The City of Kimball is asking all property owners to cut their branches.

Kimball City Ordinance 96.19 requires property owners to keep limbs and branches cut over sidewalks, streets, and alleys.

The city of Kimball Ordinance said branches should be 10 feet above sidewalks and 15 feet above streets or alleys.

The City of Kimball Street Department said if branches are not trimmed, the Street Department will trim them and the property owner will be billed.

The Kimball Street Department appreciates the cooperation of Kimball property owners.
