Western Nebraska Community College continues search for next president

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - The Western Nebraska Community College Board of Trustees is currently in the process of searching for its next president.
The WNCC Board of Trustees has been holding virtual interviews to create a list of finalists it believes could be best suited to fill the position of school president. Currently, the board has interviewed nine individuals from across the county with each board member asking questions to help determine if the candidate will be a good fit.
WNCC Presidential Search Committee Chair member Karen Anderson said, “The Presidential Search Advisory Committee is looking for a candidate that has strong leadership and experience with a rural community college. This person will have the ability to collaborate with the business community, elected officials, college staff, and faculty to help lead Western Nebraska Community College into the future utilizing our strategic plan.”
The board will announce its list of finalists as well as their bios at its next regular meeting on March 15, starting at 1 p.m. in the Coral E. Richards Boardroom.
