He was a true fighter in every sense of the word. Mark was born in Akron, OH on June 8, 1948 to Helen and Charles Webster and was the youngest of 3 brothers. He was a force to be reckoned with on the football field in high school and his passion and career as a geologist drove him to many different areas all over the west. He was an integral member of the Columbia space shuttle disaster recovery convoy in Texas in early 2000’s.
He has left behind a wife, LeaAnn Webster, daughter, Rebecca (Webster) Rivera, son-in-law, Carlos Rivera and granddaughter, Sara Webster, step-sons Tony Meick of Broomfield, CO and Andy Meick of Sterling, CO
He is preceded in death by his two older brothers, Mike and Steve Webster, his parents, Helen (Stilson) and Charles Webster and Anne Sathey from California. Mark loved the mountains and west, most specifically Colorado and Wyoming. He possessed the most amazing heart and would give the clothes off his pack to help anyone in need. Mark will be dearly missed but his legacy lives on with his daughter and granddaughter.
