33rd Annual Spring Expo
SIDNEY - A weekend full of fun, winning and businesses promoting products and services is set for April in Sidney.
The annual spring tradition allows businesses, organizations and churches from across Nebraska, Colorado and Wyoming connect with potential clients and customers through conversations, booth displays and product sales in one central location.
Nick Sutton, owner of Sutton Home Gallery, says he appreciates being involved in the expo, because it's a real traffic-driver for his furniture store in downtown Sidney.
"We want to support the Spring Expo, because we believe it is a great event for our community," Sutton said. "It brings a lot of people to town. Not only that but it generates a lot of buzz about our business. It lets people know what we are and what we offer for them."
Many of the vendors offer chances to win door prizes. Paula Gudahl, of Sidney, won a $5,000 living room refresh from Sutton Home Gallery last year. She gifted the grand prize to her daughter and son-in-law, Katie and Jay Hanes.
One grand prize drawing is already underway for the 2024 expo, with more prize announcements expected leading up the event. Radio stations, 987 The Big Boy and Cheyenne County Country, teamed with Sutton Home Gallery to giveaway a pair of lower bowl tickets to see Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown Band, Megan Moroney and Uncle Kracker at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver on July 27. The winner of the drawing on April 12 will also get a hotel voucher and $333 dollars.
Coffee from Beans & Steams Coffeehouse, of Sidney, and concessions from Outlaw Meat Company, of Gurley, will also be available at the fairgrounds both days.
