Driver injured in single vehicle accident
STERLING, Colo. -- A car went off the road west of Sterling this morning, colliding with a wood fence and coming to rest on a high voltage power box.

STERLING, Colo. -- Just after 7:30 a.m. today, Sterling Fire Department, Sterling Police Officers, Logan County Sheriff's deputies and the Colorado State Patrol responded to a motor vehicle accident on Colorado Highway 14 at Pioneer Park.
A single vehicle went off the road and drove through a wood picket fence, ending up parked on top of a high voltage power box.
The driver had extricated prior to our arrival. Xcel was contacted to mitigate the electrical hazard. The driver was transported with minor injuries.
