Prairie takes down Potter-Dix in 4 sets

NEW RAYMER, CO - Sophomore Hannah Kugler finished with a game high of 10 kills to lead the Mustangs to a 25-23, 25-17, 23-25, 25-14 win over Potter-Dix Tuesday evening at Prairie High School. Kugler also led her team with 4 blocks and added an ace serve.
Senior Kendra Sutter chipped in 7 kills and an ace while junior Bailey added 6 kills and an ace.
Prairie finished the night with 28 total kills, 6 blocks, and 5 ace serves.
Potter-Dix was let by senior Crystal Dhooge with 5 kills and an ace and block before getting injured towards the end of the 3rd set. Senior Ella Johnson chipped in 4 kills and 2 blocks.
Freshman Alexa Shoemaker held her ground in the front row adding 4 blocks.
The Coyotes finished with 16 kills, 8 blocks, and 6 ace serves.
Prairie advances to 4-1 on the season and will travel to Peetz to face the 0-5 Bulldogs on Thursday, September 12th. Potter-Dix falls to 2-3 and will host Mitchell (1-4) Thursday, September 12th.
