OSHKOSH – The Leyton Warriors and Garden County Eagles captured six of the top seven spots in the Minuteman Activities Conference golf tournament Tuesday at Oshkosh Country Club. When the scores were added up, both teams finished the day with 385 team totals. It took the Leyton Warriors until the second playoff hole to secured a MAC Tournament title and take the championship trophy back to Dalton.

Bayard took third with a 409 followed by Creek Valley with 416. South Platte came in with a 511 to capture fifth and Potter-Dix took sixth with a 523.

The Warriors Trenton Rushman shot an 88 for low medalist honors, just edging Eli Schmid of Creek Valley by one shot for the title. The next three golfers all shot 94, with Garden County's Gavin Hunt taking third on a scorecard playoff. Leyton's Dillon Juelfs finished fourth and Wade Dodge of the Eagles took fifth.
