Attorney General Hilgers files lawsuit against First Street for harming Nebraska homeowners

Attorney General Mike Hilgers filed a lawsuit against climate risk company First Street for inaccurate and misleading property-specific loss predictions. First Street claims to offer “accurate and reliable” risk scores for loss events like flood and fire for every parcel of property in Nebraska. For many properties, however, First Street’s scores are neither accurate nor reliable.

Disturbance call results in two arrests

At about 2:02 a.m. Tuesday, Scottsbluff Police were dispatched to a disturbance. The male victim suffered a knife wound to his left hand and the tip of his index finger was severed. An Omaha man and a Colorado woman were arrested in connection with the incident.
