Scottsbluff man arrested for domestic assault

A man in Scottsbluff has been arrested on an assault charge.

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. -- A man in Scottsbluff has been arrested on an assault charge.

Court documents state that upon arrival officers spoke with 49-year-old Brian Crable.

While speaking with Crable he said that his girlfriend had scratched him in the face after an argument that they had over her phone. 

She said Crable grabbed her by the arm and rolled her onto the bed which resulted in her flipping over and landing behind him. 

She said that this caused pain to her rib area and her arms. 

Court documents also state that when Crable's girlfriend was leaving the room he grabbed her by the back of her neck and shoved the phone in her face.
