A trespassing complaint in Mitchell led to an arrest on more than one offense
Scotts Bluff County Sherriff’s Department arrived in rural Mitchell in regards to a trespassing complaint after a local farmer reported seeing individuals at a residence that has been vacant for years.
SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - Scotts Bluff County Sherriff’s Department arrived in rural Mitchell in regards to a trespassing complaint after a local farmer reported seeing individuals at a residence that has been vacant for years.
When officers went inside the abandoned home they found 40-year-old Robert Larsen and his girlfriend inside.
Larsen was hiding in a bedroom when he was found.
Court documents stated that Larsen’s girlfriend told officers that they were living there without permission or knowledge of the property owner.
She advised officers that she has been assaulted by Larsen the previous night, which is why she has a black eye.
She also said that Larsen was holding her against her will at the residence by taking away her truck keys, and also threatened to kill her if she left.
During the search of the property officers found several items that were believed to be stolen.
The search also revealed 21 pills of Fentanyl and 2 glass pipes with Methamphetamine residue on them.
Larsen was arrested on a previous warrant related to burglary, 3rd Degree Domestic Assault, False Imprisonment, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl and Methamphetamine), Possession with Intent to Deliver, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Trespassing, and Possession of Stolen Property.
