The National Weather Service announced a fire watch for Sidney, Kimball, Bridgeport, and Scottsbluff.

The watch begins at 4 p.m. Monday, June 27th, and will be in effect until Wednesday afternoon.

Hot, dry, and windy conditions will contribute to increased fire danger. Outdoor burning is not recommended as any fires that do start have the potential to spread rapidly.
