NCHS announces new board members
A Nebraska-based organization providing family and adoption services has added four new board members to its team.
By News Channel NebraskaOMAHA, Neb. -- A Nebraska-based organization providing family and adoption services has added four new board members to its team.
The Nebraska Children's Home Society made the announcement in a press release Monday morning, welcoming Christine Torres, Monica Wells, Sarah Morris-Rotermund and Jamel Hamilton to its board.
“This incoming cohort brings a wealth of lived and professional experiences,” said Lana Temple-Plotz, CEO of NCHS. “They were selected based on a strong mission match with our organization that will help us advance our strategic plan and enhance our service offerings to match the evolving needs of Nebraska families.”
Torres is the director of membership and development at the Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce.
Wells is the family and community program administrator at the Buffett Early Childhood Institute in Omaha
Morris-Rotermund is the director of marketing at Lamson Dugan & Murray LLP in Omaha.
Hamilton is the deputy director of lending at Nebraska Enterprise Fund, which has offices in Oakland, Omaha, Norfolk and North Platte.
NCHS is a nonprofit organization established in 1893 that serves children and families throughout Nebraska.
The organization serves families throughout Nebraska with offices in Grand Island, Lincoln, Norfolk, North Platte, Omaha and Scottsbluff.
“I’m excited for this dynamic group of young leaders to start working with NCHS and how we can learn from them to enhance the services we provide to children and families throughout Nebraska,” Temple-Plotz said.
