SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - 30-year-old Antonio Perez, of Gering, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a Prohibited Person.

Perez was stopped at the Pony Express Station because he was yelling at a juvenile female in the parking lot.

When Perez was approached by police he became irate.

Perez then continued to walk around the Pony Express Station parking lot, took his shirt off, and threw it away.

Police went to the trash can and pulled the shirt out and found a glass pipe with white residue inside of it.

Officers also found a small reusable baggie with a white crystallized substance inside of it.

When police placed him under arrest he told officers that he had another baggie of Meth in his right cargo pocket.

A K9 unit was brought out to the scene to search Perez’s vehicle.

The K9 unit found a homemade blunt object in the driver side door area.

The blunt object was a piece of rebar cut down, wrapped in black electrical tape with a soft handle on one end of the object.

His bond is set for $26,500.
