Terrytown man arrested for threatening to shoot a residence

Police were dispatched to Terrytown in regard to a Gray Ford Explorer that had driven by a residence multiple times, threatening to shoot at the home.

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - Police were dispatched to Terrytown in regard to a Gray Ford Explorer that had driven by a residence multiple times, threatening to shoot at the home.

18-year-old Tyrik Perez was the one making the threats.

The resident of the home showed police screenshots of the messages between Perez and the homeowner.

These messages stated the threats Perez was making with the gun.

Police found Perez in his vehicle and found an AK-47 rifle on the floor between the front and rear seats.

Police also found a small amount of THC wax and some various paraphernalia.

Perez was charged with Terroristic Threats, Use of a Deadly Weapon to Commit a Felony, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia, and a Learners Permit Violation.

Perez for Terroristic Threats and Use of a Firearm to Commit a Felony, they also applied to 18-year-old Ramon Molina Jr.

Both men were in the vehicle during the drive by of one of the residences that they threatened to shoot up.

There were social media posts to back these claims.

Officers found the AK-47 in the vehicle on the drivers side.
