SIDNEY -- The Cheyenne County Board of Commissioners will meet 8 a.m. Monday at the commissioners meeting room.

The meeting is set to start with Text/MyGov program at 8:05 a.m. Next on the agenda, Sidney Regional Medical Center CEO Jason Petik will provide an update on the Long-Term Care project.

Commissioners will consider a General Assistance burial assistance request, and receive an update on NACO activities from Elaine Menzel with the Nebraska Association of County Officials. Randy Meininger, Regional West Medical Center, will appear regarding motor vehicle exemptions.

The commissioners will also consider Cheyenne County Tourism Director Kendra Mitchell as a public voter for the county in Western Nebraska Tourism Coalition, and Brooke DeNovellis as a proxy voter. 

Kiersten Richards will appear before the commissioners regarding a Special Designated Liquor license for the KSID Spring Expo.

The commissioners will meet County Assessor Jordan Hajek as the Board of Equalization regarding tax list corrections. 

Returning as the board of commissioners, the board will meet with Treasurer Shelley Bowlin regarding Tax List Corrections, Weed Superintendent Cris Burks regarding renewal of the contract and Highway Superintendent Doug Hart to discuss LB 645 highway allocation funds and consider termination of 2020 County Bridge Match Program Agreement.
